San Diego’s High Tech High School (TH) recently opened in 2000. The school is conceived and launched by a coalition of more than 40 corporate and public partners led by Qualcomm. Together these partners committed to improving the learning environments of the students attending the High Tech High School. They also committed to implementing technology to help the school to enhance its facilities, student success rates, student body makeup, and student leadership development. In the past several years, as the school has gained popularity, some additional buildings have been added to increase enrollment numbers. There is also a new face-to-face learning method called Web-based learning.
